I've never done this thing before but I've been having so much fun writing for other people! And this is the season for ~love, so who am I to question the status quo? :D
Holiday Love Meme
"'Tis the season to make a million memes to let everyone know just how much you appreciate them and love them. Comment with your username and people will comment anonymously with things they love and cherish about you. Stay anonymous simply because it makes the atmosphere lighter and more mysterious, kind of like a Secret Santa only with love and holiday cheer! People will wonder who these caring people are and appreciate the fact that they exist, not only the fact that they may be best friends with them. "
And here be my thread :D
Also, on Buffy (I HAVE BUFFY THOUGHTS, WHAT? \m/), the oddest thing happened; I saw two versions of the Pilot without realizing it. :s And since it was my first venture into Buffy, I had absolutely no idea what was going on! Although the first version had a lot of scenes similar to the second, it was actually completely different. They had different Willows, for one! And I spent a good part of the first version wondering 'but waaaaaait, wasn't Alyson Hannigan playing Willow in Buffy? HAVE I BEEN SEEING THINGS ALL THIS WHILE?' The Principal was different as well; initially it was that teacher from Glee first season whom Rachel got kicked out on harassment charges. And the entire episode was like a parody of itself; there were lots of impossible stunts, and the vampires didn't explode into dust, they left human shapes behind, Buffy kicked everyone and there was no Jesse at all. Willow was mostly sad and alone a good percent of the time, while Xander barely talked to Buffy and didn't fall all over himself, and the entire episode was twenty-five minutes long. The second version (which, I think is canonical), was SO MUCH BETTER. Buffy was way more understated and awesome and actually herself got kicked around a bit. Alyson's Willow wins ALL THE AWARDS for adding so much cheerful adorkableness to a character who could've been played as a total depressed and emo drag, as that actress from the first version showed. ALL HAIL THE CANON PILOT which cements the awesomeness like that other one so did not, Joss knows his stuff obviously.
I AM LOVING IT (McDonald's, you're welcome), BRB.
